Everyone (but Mike) is all smiles for the second BTSH Podcast!

Everyone (but Mike) is all smiles for the second BTSH Podcast!

This week could be blowout week, since all the games are outside their own conference. It will be interesting to see which 3rd and 4th division teams step up, and which get stomped. We answer that question, below.

Math at Riots

The exodus has hit Math hard.

The exodus has hit Math hard.

Math has been hit hard with the mass exodus the last two weeks. However since everyone left, they beat Fuzz and dominated the Hookers. With Rebecca Norris primed to make a return any week now, Math is in better shape than people think. Meanwhile the Riots are battling for first place in the Formerly known Glanzer and Greene Division.

Prediction: No stomping here. Early game against a lower division opponent seems Math would be ripe for an upset. The Riots have been tough all season except against Fresh Kills. I’m going with the Glanzer Upset Special of the Week! 3-2 Riots. Don’t fucking let me down Dave.

Gremlins at Sky Fighters

It’s been a pretty disappointing year for both franchises. Mike is the only person that has scored for the Sky Fighters this year, and they look like they will be facing relegation. Meanwhile, the Gremmies are a shocking 3-8. (I don’t do the 3-7-1 crap. A loss is a loss.)

Prediction: You can look elsewhere if you are a fan of the stomp. Both teams are too talented to continue to underachieve. But the Sky Fighters will wait at least another week to start achieving. Jamie locks it down 2-1.

WTP at Fresh Kills

Veterans Day, Memorial Day, we honor our US vets by remembering and praying (go with me Atheists) for them. Every summer, WTP honors their vets by doing what past WTP players have done. Not show up. Despite Majestic Corey W. (the ban is over on not mentioning him, right?) as the only link from WTP’s past, still no one shows up for them come Summer time. Fresh Kills is also having a down year, and has thrown in the towel on doing anything this regular season. They are priming for an October run.

Prediction: The players on WTP that do show up always play hard. But so do FK. Still, I don’t foresee a stomp. 5-2 FK.

Butchers at Lbs.

Da Butchers have been beating up on the bottom conference the whole year. JSB has brought a steady leadership and championship pedigree to a team that has all the tools to win a playoff game.

The Lbs. are coming off a tough loss to the Rehabs. Built much like Fuzz, they are extremely creepy with  a lot of 40-year-olds hanging out with 25-year-olds. Are any of their guys in their 30s? (If the answer is yes only Dustin looks it. No offense Sam/Karsten)

Prediction:

The Lbs. are not one of the teams the Butchers are going to beat. But the Butchers won’t get stomped. 5-1 Lbs.
