Week 12’s Three Stars
By Richiehero
Before we get to the three stars, lets find out if Suz got a star!
Damn, I was rooting for you Suzzies. OK.
*** Classy Justin P. (Math)
Classy Justin P. isn’t often mentioned on here. But he’s one of the finest men in the league, and a far cooler guy than any Norris other than Momma Norris, Poppa Norris, Becky Norris, Nathan Norris, or Sister in-law Hadar. While Daniel Murphy won the division for the Nats against the Mets, Justin made sure the lovable Fuzz didn’t. Justin scored two regulation goals and added one more in the shootout, to give the Math a well-earned 6-5 victory. The victory was even sweeter when you consider that Fuzz cheated, by switching lines during a water break!** Susie (WTP)
The first annual Bernie Sanders Participation Award for 2nd Star and hopefully move up to first star if the FBI intervenes but they won’t, goes to Susie! While WTP suffered a tough 2-1 loss to the Riots, Susie played! She didn’t light the lamp, but when I congratulated her that Stamkos re-signed with her beloved Tampa Bay Lightning, her smile lightened up the previous cloudy skies. So congrats for participating Susie!
* LBS, Inc.
Breaking news! The LBS just signed Classy Justin P.!
Honorable Mentions:
Alex Eben M.’s son. His daddy scored two goals but the newborn wanted a hatty so he pooped on Daddy.
(Brian Sullivan Alert) The Brian Sullivan scored two goals as did his teammate Jerome.
Karsten scored his second hat trick in like three games to prevent the Gremmies from pulling off the upset of the season.
Kevin L. gets an Honorable Mention for shutting out Gut Rot.
Dana netted two to get an Honorable Mention.
Shout Outs:
The following players will not receive a star or an honorable mention. However I will give them a shout out which is below stars and HM, but above, *Not-Stars*. Rachel Greene for scoring her second goal of her career, and this season. OK…now that you have two, you have to score two in one game or make it an OT goal to get mentioned.
Play of the Week:
The beautiful when she scowls Elizabeth B. If she did this for her own team, I would have given her a star. Tied at 1, late in the Sky Fighters (who she was subbing for) vs. Anklebiters game, the Anklebiters shot one past Stein. Elizabeth ran behind Stein and kept the puck from going into an empty net. This wasn’t one of those slow rolling balls that the dead rat on the West Court could have made, this was a really good hockey play.
Reminder:
There are a million dudes who want to play, a few girls who want to play, and Eitan/Newman in net. We really should be using the free agent list more, unless it is a last second thing.
