The Tuques lost a sizable chunk of their 2006 roster to the formation of the Corlears Hookers and stumbled out of the gate in 2007, losing five of their first six games.  However, there is a silver lining to last year’s cloud, as the Tuques went 6-5 after their slow start.  Included in that stretch were upset wins against the eventual champion Dark Rainbows, perennial power Fresh Kills, and talent laden Pork Fried Rice.  If the Tuques can maintain the momentum of those wins, as well as adapt to the eccentricities of (goalie) Minkus, they could be this year’s sleeper team.
