Can Gut Rot Pull Off Impossible Dream??
USA beating Russa in 1980 was nice, but kinda ehhhh. Gut Rot is trying to accomplish something much greater.
Since the Modern Era (2008-Present) I think its only happened once. I could definitely be wrong, but if I am I don’t remember, and my Hockey Autism is rarely wrong.
Only the 2012 Lbs. (who weren’t even good) beat the Hookers and Fresh Kills in consecutive weeks.
This week, Gut Rot has wrestling the chance to change the world. Now keep in mind, not too many times have actually played the pair in consecutive weeks. I mean how many times has Derk and Elly smited a team with back to back weeks of Hookers and Fresh Kills?
Our heroic BTSH Schedule Makers have blessed Gut Rot with the opportunity of a lifetime.
But after Gut Rots incredible 1-0 victory last week, if they win this week vs. Fresh Kills, they will no longer be the fun-loving Gut Rottians…they will be just another asshole team like Cobra Kai. (No offense Cobra Kai!)
