At the End of Season party last year, a very enthusiastic Sus from the Tompkins Square Riots demanded that a new category be added to the evening’s awards. This resulted in recognition of the first ever BTSH GAY OF THE YEAR (GOTY)!

A rather lengthy list of names was put into the hat, but it soon became apparent that —to the best of anyone’s knowledge— there were no out gay men in the league (just a lot of guys who are a little gay for Isaac).

So, all of the nominees were lesbians.

Someone cried, “This is basically just a list of the best female players in the league!” True story.

But one special lesbian was crowned Her Gayness: Margot S of TSR!

Since receiving this accolade, Margot has been seen hanging out with celebrities, like renowned drag queen Courtney Act. Officials have asked her advice about climate change, and it’s widely rumored that she has had a great deal of input into the upcoming iPhone 11.

“I have gotten stopped a lot more on the street and in restaurants,” admitted Margot, “Being BTSH GOTY has given me a platform to spread the gospel that is the gay agenda.”

This Sunday, the league was out in full force, showcasing our love of street hockey, beer funnels and Margot’s agenda to love whomever you want.

As we conclude WorldPride, one wonders: who will be this season’s GOTY?
