Dearest Friends,

Once again, you have a fantastic opportunity to see history made right in your backyard! If you haven’t heard, Bob “The White Haired Wizard” Baffert’s horse Justify won the Preakness this past weekend – in other words – Belmont Stakes is a Triple Crown race (last winner American Pharoah in 2015). The third and final leg of the Triple Crown takes place on June 9th!!!

You can’t lose if you bet on every single horse!

While all those details might not be too relevant to you, they should be! Belmont Park caps attendance at ~100k and there’s a good possibility it will sell out for this historic event. Therefore, I highly recommend purchasing your tickets relatively soon, details can be found below:

General Admission: $30 + Fees

This is a great option for all racing enthusiasts!

Clubhouse Admission: $60 + Fees

I’m leaning more towards this option myself. The Belmont will be packed this year and SRO (standing room only) Clubhouse tickets come with a few perks (aka access to the clubhouse, which should be slightly less crowded). Let me know if you’re interested!

Grandstand Reserved Seating: $75-$350 + Fees

This is price point is very much out of my price range, so have fun, alone… in your reserved seat!

If a day full of very exciting racing, betting, partying, and looking snazzy, then maybe you should check out the post racing headliner:

F*CK YEAH, BABY!!! Semi-charmed kinda life! The FRICKIN METS!!!

Fun Facts:

They will be checking for booze on the train, so I recommend purchasing a pint of your favorite spirit you can easily hide in your clothes. (You might also be able to sneak it into the park!)
*PLEASE NOTE: the clubhouse does NOT allow shorts and men must wear a collared shirt*
Please reach out to Dan P (co-captain of Gut Rot) or Sam N (24.5% captain of Math; Zach has the 51%) via email or text for group logistics on the LIRR and meet up spots at Belmont.  Currently, SeatGeek has the cheapest tickets after inconvenience fees.  Dan P and some folks got fancy tickets; I’ll be hanging out with the general admission plebes!
