2015 Preview- Brown Division
Who are these guys that are running around in the top division?
The Tuques are no more and 5 of the Prettiest People (though not the prettiest, that’s Lisa) have gone to join Suvin, James and the boys at Filthy.
Predictions:
When we last saw each other, Ariel was breaking the Hookers heart with BTSH’s first ever Golden Goal. So what will happen this year?
2015 Brown Division is the best BTSH division of all the times
5- Lbs.
With Ken gone many thought the Lbs. would drop off the title hunt but nothing is further than the truth. The Lbs. have a few hidden studs and they can absolutely contend for a title, though clearly they are in the 2nd tier. One thing they cant contend for is the consistency. Its this inconsistency that will land them in the last spot. They will be a very powerful #8-10 seed.
4- Demons
Hank is in, Coach is out for the Demons.
While yes, The King is better than Coach, even Hank can’t score. And whenever the Demons get eliminated, its never Coach’s fault. Jeff would have been wiser stealing Nash from the Rangers. I see another great regular season but not sure these guys can pull off four in a row, especially if one of the teams happen to be Fresh Kills.
3- Hookers
Can the Hookers come back from a devastating finals as well as the Rangers have?
When you lose in OT in the finals, its tough to bounce back. But the Hookers will be fine because they are better than almost every other team. That being said, this will be the first year since 2011 they don’t make the semi’s. Their time is up. Our time is now.
Filthy Gorgeous
The Elves, Butchers, and Tuques just weren’t cutting it. So Jenna and Ben have taken their talents to Filthy.
Wow. This team is going to score. And win. And Tim K. won’t let in goals. But they will sorely miss Creamy. He’s a dick but a really smart player. I won’t pick them to win the championship, but I will pick them to make the finals.
1- Fresh Kills
The NY Yankees of BTSH, your first repeat champions in the Modern Era. Fresh Kills.
Since the Modern Era began in 2008, no team has been able to repeat. Many have made a run, some have been ruined by their two best players boycotting the semi’s, (Trevor/Ryan) but no team has been able to win two in a row. That changes this year when Fresh Kills takes it again. Soko is a mercenary who is so busy recruiting players he can’t email league officials begging him for a ref list. Ariel is an automatic goal for any shootout. Gabe has GilDaddy issues but still is better than you, and even when Hobart makes her four errors a game, Barch will stop it.
