2015 HOF- First Inductee!

The first inductee into the 2015 BTSH Hall of Fame is your 2015 BTSH MVP, Craig L. Craig might be the most well-rounded HOFer yet. He can get in with his stellar play in the nets, as well as his off-the-charts fun factor on the rinks, or in the bar.

Lets start with the fun factor. During the 2011 Post Season Awards Ceremony, Craig saw a young Nick H. and constantly interrupted the presenters to scream, “Nick H. BUTTHOLE!!!!” When I asked Nick why Craig was saying that to him Nick said, “Craig saw me, knew my name and combined it with the word butthole.”  While that is Classic Craig, he’s since upped his game. He once saw me in a sweater and thought, “Why is Rich G. wearing a sweater.” So he and Coach decided to pour water over me and my sweater. I’ve never worn a sweater in BTSH again, for fear of further reprisals. But Craig reached the peak of his career when he decided to streak in Ocean City, steal Worky’s Stanley Cup and declare, “I’m a father!”

This man is a father dammit! And now he's a HOFer!

But while its fun to hang with Craig, its not that fun to shoot against him. While the Anklebiters adore him, Craig will go in wearing Unicorn yellow. He spent the majority of his career as a Unicorn and I don’t think too many people would argue he is the best goalie in BTSH history. When Craig moved to the Anklebiters, the Unicorns actually changed their names to the Gremlins, because they didn’t feel they should keep the Unicorn name (Coco was also a big reason for the name change).

But much like an E! True Hollywood story, controversy has marred his good name. Craig had only one playoff win in his entire BTSH career entering this season. As a matter of fact, if you google Craig L. Playoff Tantrum, you will see Craig throw his stick in disgust, after Jenna scored a shootout goal for the Butchers (after Creamy scored a very controversial shootout goal that never should have been allowed).

That loss was followed by another playoff loss. This year it appeared nothing would change as Cobra Kai jumped out to a 3-1 lead on the Anklebiters in the playoffs. But what was a 2-goal lead should have been a 5-goal lead, except Craig stood on his head. His team rebounded and eventually Craig got his elusive second career playoff win, ironically enough in a shootout. Craig followed that up with perhaps the biggest upset in playoff history with a historic win over league juggernaut Fresh Kills.

For his accomplishments on and off the court, Craig L., you are the first member of the 2015 HOF. Suck ’em in the dick Craig, suck’ em in the dick.
