2015 Hall of Fame
The 2015 season is nearing its conclusion, and we are about to crown a champion. Whatever team wins, they will forever be remembered as heroes to their collective fan base. For instance, Greg I. never has to buy a beer in the Lower East Side because everyone remembers his 2009 heroics for the Sky Fighters (Emeritus Note: I don’t). But while winning the championship is the ultimate team goal, there is no greater honor than making the BTSH Hall of Fame. Seriously, if you made the BTSH HOF, you are a legend in the best and most unique league in the country. And in all seriousness that’s saying something.

What makes a BTSH Hall of Famer? Right now, there are only seven HOFers. In 2013 Sven created the HOF and the committee voted in Andy P. from Math, Ken the Alpha Male from LBS, Inc., and the Icon herself, Stacy K. of the Rehabs. In 2014, Alex E. M. of Mega, Mrs. Sven, Monica R. of Filthy and the Franchise, Bob W. made the cut. Thanks to Dave GDR (Riots) we started a Founders wing and SB was inducted.
As you wrestling can see, that’s an eclectic class. I honestly don’t know what eclectic means…I probably should google it. But anyways, Ken and Andy were voted in mostly based on their hockey skill. Kehoe and Monica were voted in for being leaders of their team, and they were really fun to hang out after the game. Bob W. and Alex were voted in because of their selfless years of service to the league. SB was voted in because Dave can be really creepy if he doesn’t get what he wants. (SB is founder of BTSH, of course she deserves it)

True story.
This year we made a Veterans Committee that consists of Coach, Amy and Dave to decide what Old Timer from before the Modern Era (2008-Present) deserves induction. They all said they wanted to sit down and have a beer to discuss it but they all told me who they are going to choose so the surprise is lost for me. I don’t think they ever had that beer either.
As for the 2015 inductees that you savages have heard of. These people are league icons. They are not only good at hockey (dammit I guess its not me, Derk, or Elly), but they are legends who make this league way more fun.
Or maybe it is, Derk, Elly, and myself??? We make the league more fun…
