20 Questions With Mike Dudolevitch

fasdfasdfasf

Can’t wait to ask him what his favorite sports team is!

Following in the success of former BTSH.org features such as Know Your Neighbor and the ever popular PlayHer Spotlight, we present to you 20 Questions.  This week, we profile Dark Rainbows 2014 All-Star, Mike Dudolevitch.

Where are you from originally?

Born in Newport, RI…extended family’s pretty much all in Providence.

What do you do for a living?

I just quit my job of 6 years last month.  Now I use an enormous van to do freelance moving jobs and deliveries and whatnot for a living. If anyone’s moving or picking up furniture, hit me up…

Call Mike any time!

Call Mike any time!

You walk into a bar.  What do you order from the bartender?

Rolling Rock tall can with a well whiskey shot, or whatever’s close to that.

What’s on your DVR right now?

Mostly Frasier and Children’s Hospital

The world’s ending tomorrow.  What are you having for your last meal?

Hmm..Maybe I’d try human flesh. Seriously, at that point, what’s the difference?

Tastes like chicken.

Tastes like chicken.

What websites do you visit most frequently?

Puck Daddy, NHL.com, and Japer’s Rink are the first sites I visit. And then I scroll twitter for hockey news about random teams I mostly don’t care about.

What’s the most frequently played song on your iPod?

“Destroyer” by the Kinks and “People Who Died” by Jim Carroll. I had to study the lyrics to both of those songs to cover in the past so that makes sense.

Dogs or cats?

Normally I’d say dogs without hesitation. But my roommate just adopted a 10-week old kitten that I’ve been hanging out with, so, cats.

What was the best concert of your life?

Last year when Imperial State Electric played Knitting Factory. They’re from Sweden and not huge over here like they are in Europe, so it was a small crowd, easy to get up front, and they were on fire that night. They were touring to support one of my all time favorite records, Pop War, so being able to see them in a club setting that close was nuts.

What’s your all time favorite book and why?

The First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie. Because I’m into nerd fantasy books, and that’s the best series.

You have 24 hours to live.  What would you do?

Probably get the whole deathbed repentance thing outta the way early in a couple different religions (just in case). Then I’d just see who wanted to go on an old-fashioned bender with me and rage right to the end. I’d give heroin a try with a couple hours to go.

What’s your favorite sports team or teams (like we don’t already know)?

Hmmm, well I am usually pretty shy about being a Washington Capitals fan, but you got it outta me..

Who’s your biggest celebrity crush?

Teri Nunn in her prime.

Oooooh, Mike...

Oooooh, Mike…

Who is your favorite teammate?

Now that Sikander split, it’s Rem, my new linemate 4ever <3 <3

Who is your favorite goalie to score on?

At this point, I’d take any goalie to let one of my shots by. But I’ll go with Tim Burke. Factoring in Mofo, I seem to play against him every other game, and I always seem cursed against that dude.

What’s your go-to breakfast cereal?

Waffle Crisp, if its available. Other than that, off-brand Lucky Charms knock-offs when I actually buy cereal.

lucky

The breakfast of champions.

How do you spend your Sundays when not at BTSH?

During the offseason on Sundays, I’d go to my friends’ place, we’d invite a couple people over at like noon, get really high, spin records, drink bloody marys and beers, play old video games and make brunch and then all pass out at 4 to a movie. Hoping to do that again though I’ll probably have to work more Sundays now.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

I think my biggest one is when I order an iced coffee and the incompetent jackass working assumes I want sugar despite my saying, “No sugar please.” First world problems and all that, but man that pisses me off.

What’s one thing that only a select few know about you?

I have an identical twin named Eric.

If you could invite five people–living or dead–to dinner, who would it be?

I think inviting both Ted Nugent and Morrissey would make for some interesting conversation. Jose Canseco would get an invite. Giada DeLaurentis, if she can help with the food preparations and director Paul VerHoeven would round out my dinner party.
