Remember when LeBron told the Heat fans he would win, not 1, not 2, not 3…but 8 NBA Championships?

We were short on refs for 5:30 this week, with not a single volunteer. But the Lbs. stepped up big time and supplied not 1, not 2, not 3…ok it was actually 3 refs.

Defenseman Paul scored two goals and Lee (pictured here in this really blurry photo courtesy of Jordan WTP) also chipped in a goal to lead the Demons past the Tuques 5-0. Great job by Coach for getting a shutout. They don’t happen too often vs. those guys.

We asked Hopper to send us a picture of Roman and he sent us this. I asked Dan if Roman knew we would put this on the website. He said yes.
But hey…dignity is overrated when you score four goals. The return of Martin was the pre-game story, but Roman stole the show. The last three goals were in the 2nd half.

The best thing to happen to the Elves since Jonathan (the Barnacle) Lavine quit is Jonathan Brugger joining. All season the rookie has been a vocal leader but last game he did it with his stick.
Down 3-0 he led the Elves to a shootout victory by scoring two goals from defense. He also pulled a Béla Károlyi by carrying an injured Luisa off the court.
I’m glad to call you a friend and teammate. But a star you do not get. Sucks Bruggs. No #10 for you.
