Lbs. at Demons (Written by Rich)
If this game were in April, May, September or October, I’d prob go with the Lbs. But few teams are as consistent in the summer as the Demons, so I’m going to go with a 3-1 victory.
Derek: Rich is exactly right (for a change).  The Demons are en fuego right now.  4-2 Denim Demons.
Eli: I think Rich is wrong (yet again).  LBS Inc. rebounds from last week’s loss with a 2-1 win.

Fresh Kills at Rainbows (Written by Rich)
Has any team ever pulled off back-to-back wins over the Hookers and then Fresh Kills? My guess would be no. I think it will stay that way. 4-1 FK.
Derek: The Rainbows got on my case last week, because I picked against them (as did Richie and Elly, by the way) before they valiantly took down a team comprised of about 2 1/2 Hookers.  So yeah, egg on my face.  Anyway, I’m picking against them again. 4-0 FK.
Eli: I don’t expect Fresh Kills to show up with a skeleton squad like Corlears did last week.  Fresh Kills, 5-1.  And to answer your question, Rich…yes, LBS, Inc. did it in the 2012 playoffs (semifinals and championship game).

Hookers at WTP (Written by Rich)
Last week the Hookers didn’t show up against the Rainbows. This week, Sam and Tiffany will be there since both confirmed they will play in the ASG. Good news/bad news here. Sam is great at arm-wrestling but only good at hockey (And terrible at Skee*T*Ball). Tiff is great at hockey but probably not arm-wrestling. Meanwhile, WTP is terrible at emailing since we still don’t know who their All-Stars are. I hope it’s that guy that gives the bad high-fives because he scored a goal while falling down a few weeks ago and deserves to go. For his hockey skills, not his high fives.

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Slow down WTP, and enjoy the moment, and figure out if its going to be a fist-bump or open hand.

Derek: Richie is good at jokes but bad at grammar. #realtalk  Anyway, I’ll take the Hookers here.
Eli: Sam did show up last week, for what it’s worth. And I’ll take Corlears here, anyway.

Rehabs at Butchers (written by Rich)

This isn't my WCW or TBT. This is Rachel Greene in 2009 plotting to steal MDF from the Reeeeeehaaaabbbs to the Mighty Squirrels.

Rehabs at Butchers (written by Richie)
Sorry, but this just won’t look right, MDF playing against the Reeeeeehaaaaaabbbbssss. But like Jordan going to the Wizards, Gretzky going to the Kings and Glanzer going to the Hookers (shhhh, no one knows about this yet) sometimes legends move on. MDF has moved on. She’s engaged, filthy rich, has free use of Rachel Greene’s yacht that Rachel bought from the Rose Charity Tournament and is on a winning team. Meanwhile, the Rehabs are pining over photos of Kehoe, MDF, Romeo and Gina. OK, not really Gina. But you get the point. The Butchers clobber the Habs 5-0 here. Reeeeeeehaaaabbbs is dead.
Derek: Butchers win 4-1. Eight goals for Cherie.
Eli: Something seems off there, Derek.  I have Butchers, 3-2, but only five goals for Cherie.

Poutine at Sky Fighters

2013 were lost years for both Poutine and the Sky Fighters. But it appears much like Stella, both teams have their groove back.

This is a battle of two of the best–if not the best–captains in BTSH. (I’d prob put Soko #1 actually so we’ll stick with “of the best” for now) Sven’s team is more reliable, but Hopper’s team has more talent. Talent wins in this battle, 3-2.
Derek: Idina Menzel’s popularity kind of just appeared overnight, didn’t it?  I’m sure she was great on Broadway, but that’s a very small community of people who knew her then.  Then she “separates” with Taye Diggs, and she’s the new it girl.  Weird.  Sky Fighters win, 2-1.
Eli: Is this the week Martin comes back? No? I’ll still take the Sky Fighters, 3-1.

Riots at Cobra Kai
I think Cobra Kai is starting to realize they are championship contenders. No one has told them a team from the 4th division isn’t supposed to be this good. Meanwhile, the Riots are struggling but they are no pushovers. Man, I see a close game here. Going to go 3-2 with Cobra Kai but I think the Riots can pull this one out.
Derek: TSR will only keep it close for a half, but the Dojo pulls away in the second for a 5-1 win.
Eli: Cobra Kai keeps rolling with a 4-0 win.

Math at Anklebiters
This should be a very entertaining game. Anklebiters have the two best players but Math is probably more polished all around. I’ll go with the talent in this one, 3-2 Anklebiters.
Derek: #SheisComing… Okay, that’s silly, but we do have a new girl making her BTSH debut this week, and she already promised to score five goals.  I told her not to put so much pressure on herself and four would be fine.
Eli: Is #She just $h0wT!m3 wearing a wig?

Elves at Gut Rot
Derk and Elly are supposed to write this one but they are concentrating on the ASG post. I can see Ashley slashing Gil’s Son’s Dad “by mistake” in this one.
Derek: This looks like a solid preview to me. 4-1 Elves win.
Eli: Man, Gil is going to be really upset about that. But the Elves win, 3-1.

Tuques at Filthy
This is a rematch from the now infamous game of two weeks ago when James P. not only scored four goals, but got 12 stitches in his eye before the game, cured cancer and helped that eagle that typically comes at the 5:30 games catch a rat. I think the Tuques will be motivated this game and take it 4-2.
Derek: La Famiglia has now lost its last two games and no longer appears to be the juggernaut we once thought (remember when they were stood beside the Hookers and Fresh Kills as the last remaining undefeated teams?).  Anyway, they rebound with a close win here, 4-3.
Eli: James P. does it again, and Filthy wins 5-3. But he is somehow not selected by his teammates as an All-Star.

Gremmies at Mega Touch
They will pretend like its the BTSH Championship as the whole league will be watching, waiting for both 5:30 games so we can watch the ASG. Julie needs a W…so I’m going to say 4-3 Mega.
Derek: I got the chance to play for Mega last week, and…it didn’t go so well.  But I honestly had a lot of fun, and I learned Julie is a much nicer captain than I am.  Unfortunately, I have to go Gremlins here, 4-1.
Eli: The Gremlins put up six goals last week. That’s like a month’s worth for them. Happy Julie makes Jamie sad, as Mega triumphs, 3-2.
